TEHORA is currently seeking a project supervisor with excellent technical skills, strong knowledge, and who wishes to apply their expertise within a versatile team. The following services and deliverables, while not exhaustive, must be provided by the selected candidate. Description of work or deliverables: take into account, when developing the inspection plan, all recommendations from the designer; establish with the designer the required site visits to be conducted by the designer; accompany the designer during site visits; invite the designer to site meetings as needed; transmit to the designer required documents, including: progress reports, notices to the contractor, technical reports, as-built drawings, etc.; request the designer’s opinion on any proposed project modifications; prepare detailed large-scale drawings of details not foreseeable during the preparation of final plans and specifications, but required for construction; produce correspondence related to construction work, including client's technical advice on issues arising during construction; make recommendations to the client regarding approval of equivalency for construction materials or equipment; prepare a monitoring plan in accordance with the Guide de surveillance-Chantiers d’infrastructures de transport (Transport Infrastructure Sites Monitoring Guide); implement the list of all operational stations (locations, coordinates, balancing in x,y,z) used for project execution; assign, based on site activities, the secondary technical representative and/or the weigh ticket receiver; coordinate and monitor the work team’s activities during construction; follow up on citizen complaints related to work execution; hold regular site meetings every two (2) weeks, or as frequently as required by project progress, and prepare minutes of site meetings; conduct periodic site visits to ensure compliance of works across various disciplines and specialties; analyze and prepare change notices requested by the client; inform the client of technical issues arising during construction and/or situations that could affect the design, and collaborate with the designer if necessary; control the execution of tests and inspections on infrastructure and equipment; complete claim notification forms when requested and follow up before issuing final payments; issue the work completion certification form; analyze and make recommendations to the client regarding any notice of findings and claims; perform any other related office supervision tasks. Requirements be an intermediate engineer and active member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec; possess a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in supervising construction projects for water supply, sewer networks, and roadway works; possess five (5) years of relevant experience in supervising water supply and sewer network construction projects; hold a certificate of completion for the course "Gestion des impacts des travaux routiers" (Management of Roadwork Impacts) and the course "Supervision et surveillance de la signalisation de travaux de chantier routiers" (Supervision and Monitoring of Roadwork Site Signaling) from the road and highway construction site signage training program delivered by an organization recognized by the MTMD, valid for the entire contract duration. SALARY The salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.
