Must be willing to learn and follow directions well and have a positive attitude. Must be reliable and dependable, honest, energetic, patient, and flexible and be very good at multi-tasking. Must have excellent communication and listening skills and be physically fit, strong and healthy as job requires bending, squatting and twisting to accomplish some tasks. Proper body mechanics must be used. Also accompany to doctors appointments and shopping trips when needed. Must be able to administer insulin shots. Requirements Current/Valid Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) Registration An asset if you own vehicle and have a valid driver's licence (not required) Negative TB Test completed within the last year Personal Support Worker Certification or International nursing/ doctorate Certification Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate Valid WHMIS2015 Certificate of Completion COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to Ontario’s Human Rights Code Valid Criminal Record Check - must be completed within the last year.
