Description

Director of Marketing Who we are: Creyos (formerly Cambridge Brain Sciences) is a leading growth-stage B2B SaaS HealthTech company. Our proprietary brain health tools, including digital cognitive assessments and mental health questionnaires, are used by healthcare providers treating mental health conditions, brain injuries, aging, and other patient populations throughout the world, as well as by leading researchers. To learn more about our organization, please visit www.creyos.com.  You will be part of a team that includes not just your typical SaaS business functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success), but also engineers, psychologists, business leaders, and even a world-renowned neuroscientist. We are proud to say that you will be surrounded by some of the smartest, enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated people that you’ll ever meet (at least, that we’ve ever met!).  Who we are looking for:  We’re seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Director of Marketing to lead our growing team. The ideal candidate is a proven marketing generalist who has both done the work and led others in doing it—bringing hands-on experience across brand, demand generation, content, and customer engagement, as well as the leadership skills to connect these disciplines into cohesive strategies. You know when to step into the details yourself and when to empower your team to deliver. You bring both a growth mindset and sharp strategic instincts: eager to learn, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and able to balance short-term wins with long-term positioning. As a senior leader, you will set the direction, guide the team, and ensure marketing delivers initiatives tightly aligned to customer needs and business goals. You’ll mentor a cross-functional group of marketers, foster a culture of curiosity and excellence, and channel the voice of the customer with every campaign.  This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate must live in the GTA and be available to commute regularly to our downtown office. Key responsibilities:  Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer, your job responsibilities will include:  Performance Marketing Strategy & Leadership Own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy, ensuring all campaigns support revenue growth, pipeline creation, and customer retention. Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to align on go-to-market priorities, jointly shaping messaging, campaigns, and team enablement programs that win in a relationship-driven market. Define and evolve messaging and channel mix to differentiate in a competitive SaaS landscape, ensuring we meet buyers where they are. Customer & Market Insight Ensure every program is grounded in the realities of the market – integrating insights from Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing into every campaign. Champion voice-of-customer data, ensuring campaigns, content, and events reflect real segment needs, motivations, and decision drivers. Use competitive and market intelligence to anticipate shifts and guide plans. Pipeline & Demand Generation Build and optimize integrated demand programs across digital, content, social media, and events that generate qualified pipeline and accelerate deal cycles. Ensure marketing investments are measurable and tied to sales outcomes, not vanity metrics. Support the development of account-based strategies that deepen engagement with target accounts and strengthen relationships. Brand & Thought Leadership Elevate the brand as a trusted partner to customers through storytelling, thought leadership, and customer success amplification. Oversee the creation of high-quality, credible, content that supports the buyer journey—from awareness to advocacy. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional marketing team, setting a high bar for performance and accountability. Provide clarity of direction while empowering the team to execute with autonomy and creativity. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and results orientation. Performance & Optimization Define, track, and communicate KPIs that tie directly to revenue, pipeline velocity, and customer growth. Use data to quickly and continuously improve marketing performance and allocate resources effectively. Regularly report to the executive team with insights, results, and recommendations for future growth. Skills & experience:  8–12 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS. Generalist foundation across brand, demand generation, content, partnerships, and customer engagement. 5+ years leading high-performing teams—setting goals, coaching talent, and building collaborative, accountable cultures. Proven ability to both execute and lead teams, scaling marketing in sales-driven environments. Strategic thinker who can also dive into details; creative yet data-driven. Growth mindset: curious, adaptable, and customer-focused. Strong creative judgment and ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and campaigns that resonate across audiences and channels. Deep understanding of B2B SaaS buyer journeys and marketing’s role in accelerating them. Demonstrated success driving pipeline creation, deal velocity, and win rates through measurable programs. Advanced experience defining, tracking, and reporting on marketing KPIs tied to outcomes. Proficient with Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, AdWords, Search Console, and attribution best practices. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Product, and Customer Success. Exceptional communicator and storyteller; confident presenting to executives and influencing leadership decisions. Some of the reasons people choose to join the Creyos team include: Grow through our career paths leading to more senior roles. We invest in the development of our team members, provide significant opportunities for growth and career advancement, and do everything we can to support one another to ensure individual and team success. In 2024, 25% of our team members were promoted at least once to more senior roles!  Recharge during our annual company-wide break and extra holidays. In addition to vacation and quarterly Personal Days, every year we take a company-wide break in December to rest and recharge. We also give team members two additional holidays off per year: U.S. Independence Day and U.S. Thanksgiving, which we celebrate as Brain Holidays. We want you to feel motivated and energized at work!  Get access to comprehensive benefits. We pride ourselves on offering benefits covering medical, dental, vision, mental health, wellness and more. Additional information: This is a hybrid role with time spent in our downtown Toronto office. Creyos is an equal opportunity employer.
