What your day looks like: Respond to inquiries via telephone, email, or chat on Qtrade Direct Investing (QDI) products and services in an efficient, compliant, courteous, and professional manner Support our clients by managing the order flow for online trading from our self-directed clients Act as the primary contact with the client with respect to the resolution of problems and complaints by initiating an investigation, recording details, referring to the relevant department and conducting appropriate follow-up Keep current with market trends and news items which may affect markets and impact client’s investment decisions Drive continuous improvement by identifying, suggesting and actively participating in process improvement Understand and apply department operating policies and procedures Requirements Your experience and skills: Post secondary education is preferred with an emphasis in business or economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Completion of the Canadian Securities (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is required 1-3 years’ experience as an Investment Representative in Direct Investing supporting Client trade orders, Financial Advisor or an Associate Advisor is ideal 2-3 years’ related work experience in the financial services industry in a customer facing position or in a call centre Options Licensing Course & Derivatives Fundamentals Course (DFOL) is an asset and is required within 6 months of being hired Securities registration as an Investment Representative within the past two years is ideal The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with volumes dictated by market trends, client demands, and seasonal peaks A positive attitude and excitement regarding learning new tasks and skills to keep up with changing environments / duties Being able to adapt to change is important as our hours can change, and so can your schedule Fluent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and French are required to effectively communicate with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada Benefits Why Aviso Wealth?
