Job Description We are seeking an experienced institutional investment manager to join our investment consulting team and play a leading role in the further growth and development of our investment consulting practice in Canada.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing investment advisory solutions and services to clients including corporate and multi-employer pension plans, endowments/foundations, private counsel operations, and wealth management programs.  Areas of expertise include investment consulting, portfolio management, investment research, investment product design, and business development in the Canadian marketplace.  This role includes the management and development of team members and a role on the Canadian Leadership or Management Team. The Role: The successful candidate will have a demonstrated investment consulting experience with pension funds, benefit funds, and wealth management organizations. Areas of subject matter expertise include: institutional investment consulting, investment markets, strategies, and structuring, and relevant investment managers and sources; portfolio asset allocation, risk, compliance, performance attribution, and operational projects; developing, educating, managing, and mentoring other team members. Requirements Qualifications Fifteen or more years of relevant investment advising/consulting experience with institutional asset owners. CFA designation. CIM designation Qualified experience for the OSC portfolio manager registration. High ethical and professional standards. Proven leadership and collaboration ability. Strong interpersonal skills to independently interact with clients, investor community, and investment managers. Collaborative team skills as an excellent listener, learner, and contributor. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy against deadlines. Compliance experience will be a plus.
