Travel expectations are minimal: Estimated 10–20 days/year to attend relevant trade shows / conferences and to support more complex field-based tech installs (noting most installs can be managed remotely with on-the-ground support from field-based trades teams.) What You Bring to the Role Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred—but equivalent experience in SMB IT leadership roles will be strongly considered. 6+ years of experience managing IT systems and infrastructure in small to mid-sized organizations. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and desktop/networking environments. Familiarity with remote communications tools like Starlink, satellite phones, InReach devices, and multi-router Wi-Fi layouts. Understanding of cyber security best practices, backup procedures, user access control, and device lifecycle management.
