As a Security Team Lead, you'll oversee a dedicated team at the University Health Network’s West Park site. This is a full-time leadership role ideal for someone with a background in healthcare security, excellent communication, and a hands-on leadership style. What You'll Do Lead and motivate a team of security professionals on site Oversee compliance with site-specific and Paladin policies Manage schedules, performance reviews, and staff training Conduct audits, investigations, and incident reporting Communicate with site leadership and Paladin’s Client Service Manager Requirements Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification (WSIB-approved provider) COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) Immunization records for: • Mumps • Measles • Rubella • Varicella • Two-step Tuberculosis (TB) skin test Willingness to complete N95 Mask Fit Test Clear Vulnerable Sector Check At least 1 year of healthcare security supervisory experience (preferred but strongly considered) Strong written and verbal communication skills Legally authorized to work in Canada Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) • Or willingness to complete pre-employment training (provided at no cost by Paladin) Benefits Competitive pay with averaging agreement for overtime Medical, dental, paid holidays & vacation Free uniforms, license reimbursement, dry cleaning/tailoring allowance Internal promotion and training opportunities

This role offers flexible scheduling with a mix of casual, part-time, and full-time opportunities available based on your availability and site needs. You'll work across a variety of commercial, residential, and office environments—playing a key role in helping people feel safe and supported while protecting properties, deterring incidents, and managing emergencies. Scheduling & Shift Expectations: We are currently hiring for casual, part-time, and full-time roles. Candidates must be available for at least 4 full shifts per week, with availability across both day and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
