Job Description: In-Home Caregiver / Nanny Position: Full-time In-Home Caregiver / Nanny Location: Wpg, MB Employment Type: Full-time, live-in or live-out Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends as needed) Wage: $16/hour (or as per provincial minimum wage) + overtime pay as applicable Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver / Nanny to provide high-quality childcare and household support for our family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for [number and age of children], ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and developmental needs are met in a nurturing environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and care for children’s physical and emotional needs, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and playtime activities Organize and engage children in educational, recreational, and age-appropriate activities Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children Assist with homework and school-related tasks Manage daily routines, including nap times, outings, and appointments Perform light housekeeping related to childcare (e.g., cleaning play areas, laundry, tidying up) Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and needs Provide safe transportation to and from activities, if required Follow household rules and routines consistently Attend to any emergencies and administer first aid if needed Requirements: Prior experience as a caregiver, nanny, or similar childcare role preferred Ability to provide references from previous employers Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable) Ability to communicate in English or French (as per household preference) Compassionate, patient, and attentive personality Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed Benefits: Competitive hourly wage with overtime pay Paid vacation as per provincial labour standards Live-in accommodation and meals provided (if applicable) Supportive and welcoming family environment
