Position: E-Commerce Sales Assistant / Social Media Strategist Note1: This is an in-office position. It is not hybrid or remote. Note2: The individual hired for this position will occasionally handle inbound phone calls (general inquiries) and interact with local in-person customers. Excellent proficiency in the English language is required. Company: AVGearShop.com Location: Brampton. 80 Devon Road Summary: 6-month contract with potential for additional 6-month Part-time: Monday-Thrusday. 9:30am to 2:30pm. (no work on Friday) Wages: $19/hourly E-Commerce Sales Assistance (60%) - Ability to handle walk-in sales/local customers - Create and manage SKUs: Input/update all product attributes, specifications, and images as required on our web-store and strategic marketplaces. - Consistently optimize product listings on all sales channels - Market Research: Monitor competitors and industry trends to recommend updates to pricing, promotions, and product offerings. - Performance Analytics: Track and analyze sales metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for growth. - Create and develop unique sales strategies across all sales channels including social media platforms. - Become familiar with individual product/product categories to create the best SEO optimized - Check and confirm product listing specifications, condition, and status in all channels - Handle price promotional updates as required Social Media Strategist (40%) - Campaign Assistance: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, drive website traffic, and boost online sales. - With the use of AI, create and develop engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos, aligned with brand identity. - Community Engagement: Build strategies to increase engagement across all social media platforms. - Develop, schedule, and publish content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). - Research and develop marketing and SEO tactics to maximize brand exposure and achieve sales goals - Create engaging photo, video, and written content in alignment with the brand. - Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages. - Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy to improve reach, engagement, and conversion. - Stay current on social media trends, competitors, and relevant hashtags. Requirements: - 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, customer service, or social media marketing is preferred but not required. - Strong understanding of online sales platforms and digital marketing tools. - Excellent communication, writing, and customer service skills. - Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized. - Experience with WooCommerce, Magento or similar platforms is a strong asset. - Photography and product lighting skills, Please submit your resume.
