Home Support Worker (Malayalam-Speaking) Job Title: Home Support Worker (NOC 44101) Employer: Private Household Location: Edmonton, Alberta Wage: $21.00 per hour Hours: 30–40 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time ⸻ Job Description We are seeking a caring and reliable home support worker to assist an elderly family member in a private household. The candidate will provide essential care, companionship, and assistance with daily tasks in a respectful and culturally appropriate manner. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Assist with daily personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming) • Prepare and serve balanced and Kerala style meals(regional) • Assist with mobility and routine physical support • Provide companionship and emotional support • Accompany the client to appointments when needed • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, dishes) ⸻ Requirements: • At least 1 year of experience in a caregiver or similar role • Secondary school diploma (preferred) • Must write,read,understand , and speak Malayalam fluently • Must read,write,understand and speak English fluently • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
