KEF 103/3 Reference Speakers + KEF Kube – $400 OBO

Cosmetic condition is about 5/10 (corner wear and some staining), but the cabinets are solid. One tweeter recently stopped working; the other speaker plays normally. I’m selling because I recently sold the stereo that had a tape/processor loop, and my new setup doesn’t have one—and I’m not really interested in doing speaker repairs, so I’d rather pass these on to someone who wants to restore them. These speakers sound amazing when fully functioning, and the included KEF Kube (the model-specific active EQ unit) really brings out the low-end extension the 103/3s were engineered for. The Kube alone typically sells for $150+ on its own. Note: Your stereo must have a tape loop or processor loop for the Kube to work properly. I can audition the speakers, but I don’t currently have an amp with the required loop to demonstrate the Kube in the signal path.
