Glenbow Manor is located in the residential community of Bowness in northwest Calgary. Various local restaurants and retail shops are within walking distance of Glenbow Manor. To the west of Glenbow Manor is Bowness High School, while the Bow River lies to the north and east. Situated on the western edge of Calgary, residents of Glenbow Manor can easily access COP (Canada Olympic Park), 16th Avenue NW (the Trans-Canada Highway), and the Rocky Mountains. Until 1964, the Bowness community was its own town; since then, it has become a thriving neighborhood in northwest Calgary. Its proximity to the Bow River, Stoney Trail, and 16 Ave NW makes it an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy a quiet suburban pace along with downtown amenities.
