BFS Acoustic Open Stage Night

Open Stage Wednesday 6-830 pm (THIS IS THE CORRECT TIME) at Barrie Public Library Painswick. Join the Barrie Folk Society, a not-for-profit organization that cares about the growth and nurturing of the folk/roots music movement in our community, as they share their passion for acoustic music. Listen to the sound of live music or bring your instrument and play your favourite tunes in an “OPEN STAGE” format. Members of the community are encouraged to come out and be part of our audience and enjoy an evening of musical entertainment for FREE! The event will run on the THIRD Wednesday of every month from 6-830 pm and sign up time will begin at 5:45 pm. Each performer (solo or groups) will have the opportunity to take the stage to perform a three-song set (of no more than 15 minutes).There will be 10 guaranteed spots. At the conclusion of the 10 performances the host will apportion the remaining time available between those that have not yet performed and/or give others a chance for extra songs.
