I offer academic tutoring and psychotherapy to people who feel deeply, are often misunderstood, and just can't get a handle on school or life. You can book either service individually or both. Academic Tutoring & Coaching ($50/hr): Educational and non-clinical support designed to help you understand how your brain learns best by blending study strategy with embodied regulation, metacognitive awareness, and neuroaffirming insight. For students who are neurodivergent, creative, or highly sensitive and struggle with executive functions such as working memory, inhibitory control, task initiation, cognitive flexibility, planning, sustained attention, or goal maintenance. We’ll strengthen your learning efficiency, information encoding, and retrieval fluency while reducing cognitive overload and perfectionistic self-monitoring. For people navigating motivation, neurodivergence, attention and executive-function challenges, anxiety, burnout, autism, ADHD, identity stress, masking fatigue, rejection-sensitivity dysphoria, or anyone who might feel left behind. You sense, feel, and notice the dynamic world through affect, embodiment, and awareness in real relational experience. In psychotherapy sessions, we co-create meaning, ease overwhelm, and build resilience, connection, self-trust, and calm through body awareness, narrative exploration, and expressive techniques that match your unique way of being. Our work enhances attentional control, emotional regulation, interoceptive accuracy, and metacognitive flexibility --> capacities linked to adaptive functioning across cognitive and affective networks. By pairing tutoring (new skill acquisition, focused attention, cognitive rehearsal) with therapy (emotional safety, regulation of the autonomic nervous system, reflective integration), you can create optimal conditions for adaptive neuroplastic change by consolidating gains in motivation, memory, and confidence. The tutoring session recruits the networks for working memory, planning, and problem-solving, while therapy reinforces self-regulation, inhibitory balance, and cognitive flexibility.
