If I were you, I'd do both as this is an incredible opportunity to own a reliable and tastefully modified WRX. * I purchased this quick and clean subi from the original owner last year. Thought I would drive it more than I have. A car like this is meant to be driven and enjoyed, not stuck in my garage next to my projects. This thing is an absolute dream to drive, no shortage of power and the confidence of all wheel drive. No crazy settings to get in your way of connecting to the car and enjoying the open road. The exhaust has a mild subi rumble. Very reasonable sounding as you can cruise through town with the windows down or on the highway while still enjoying the stereo. Put your foot into it and hear the intake suck in some serious air for it's turbo buddy - then you hear the engine working away through the exhaust with a sound that makes you turn the tunes down. This WRX can be refined and civilized - or can be crazy and wild like that uncle your parents said you couldn't get in a car with! Windshield is next to new as I had it replaced last April. Sadly this subi hung out in the garage and didn't see much of winter other than through the windows. Summer tires are basically new, winters have many seasons left in them. Weathertech floor mats front and back, factory floor mats included as well. 3 sets of keys (2 regular, 1 valet) and both key fobs. Please reach out with any questions. But if you do and they lock you out of the house - fold down the seats and sleep in the back - way more comfortable than a sedan with a trunk!) -Yes, it's incredibly hard to drive a fast car slow! It's a 16+ year old car and shows very well. The original owner treated it very well and I have done the same. There is some minor rust in areas, but nothing that takes away from it. A touchup pen is included if it really bugs you. He was a mature car enthusiast who built one hell of a car. Reliable, fast, and built to last. I'm old enough to open it up a bit while realizing it could make me buy a bus pass. I'm too lazy to walk and really don't want to ride the bus, which has led me to be fairly conservative in my driving. Both of us ensured it always drinks the good stuff for fuel, as it is conservatively tuned for 91 octane. I'm sure if you wanted to do some mild modifications you could have all the power you could want. It's never been smoked or vaped in - I smoke and always took the time to stop and get out. Interior is in great shape given the age, and I will chase the dust away that has collected in it - dust shouldn't be on the inside as the subi should be out and enjoyed.
