Personalized Sewing & Embroidery Lessons

Thank you for checking out my ad! I am an experienced sewist and embroiderer with over four years of dedicated tutoring and training on many different brands of sewing and embroidery machines, and I am offering my services to help new and/or returning sewists to familiarize themselves with their machine and all of the wonderful things it can do for them. My training is one-on-one, personalized to your goals and needs which will be discussed before we meet for a scheduled lesson. These lessons will cover all of the basic controls of your machine (including accessories and feet), what each of the different stitches on your machine are used for, and crucial knowledge for all sewists to know (eg tension, how to select thread and needle types, etc). While my lessons are not project-based, they will instill in you the knowledge and tools you need to explore sewing and/or embroidery with newfound confidence, and we will discuss what projects you are considering to offer specialized focus on areas of this vast creative world that interest you the most. My price is $50/hr, which factors travel distance to your home - these personalized lessons will be done on your own machine. As such, please make sure your machine is in working order before we move forward - I am NOT a licensed technician!
