UPDATE / REQUEST I was able to get help last night returning and exchanging my air mattress. Thank you so much to everyone who has shown me kindness and support. I truly feel blessed and deeply grateful. I was medically diagnosed in my early childhood with autism and fetal alcohol syndrome life long disabilities. Please I dont want to be looked down on it's really hard for me to say all this but I do feel it's necessary as I know I ask for help frequently. I feel that people deserve to know more about my situation. Although I am verbal, I have significant difficulties with sensory overload, processing information, transportation, sudden changes and managing everyday tasks independently. I am also not good with verbal directions I also get lost very easy which leads me to severe distress if I'm not familiar with a my surroundings. I also struggle with social settings I get overwhelmed and over stimulated very easily. I have very limited support naturally no family and very little friends, and everyone else has recently moved out of my rental home, leaving only me and my hypoallergenic threapy dog I am completely alone. The change has been extremely hard for me and I am not coping very well alone I am very overwhelmed and struggling with my emotions and thoughts. I have very little professional support and I feel like the system is failing me and I'm falling through the cracks and just trying to survive on my own. It is a lot of heaviness for me and I feel scared at times mentally it's draining me im overwhelmed and at times it feels like everything is impossible i feel like im failing im frustrated and sad. I do not have any family. My adoptive parents are very abusive as they could not cope with my disabilities. This result me being severely abused. I left when I was 18 I tried to start my own life but ended up being taken advantage of and was around alot of abusive people who were dangerous. I have a child with a guy i was with for 5 yrs who was extremely abusive to me he also put my unborn child life at risk so I left him and tried my hardest to give a better life to my son who currently is in foster care and struggles also with autism and in special care foster home. Father has no visit rights. I have very little support I would really like to build a community around me that could be there to be a true friend who can be there who truly cares about me and is supportive. I would like to reach out on here and make some friends. If that interests you please reach out to me. please me mindful I do have my limitations because of my disabilities. I will also try to be mindful and understanding limits and not put pressure. Right now I am in immediate need of food. I have already used the food bank three times and now need documents or a referral that I do not currently have. I also contacted a Catholic church, but it is unavailable for August. Transportation is a major barrier because I cannot safely take public transit alone its not possible for me to leave my home safely alone. Groceries and necessities list of things i need at the moment any help with any of these things on the list would be very much helpful and forever grateful *Potatoes *Large eggs *Avocados *Mushrooms *cilantro *lemon *Bread preferably sour dough for my gut ussues but anything would do *fresh ginger *black olives *Quino *easy comfort basic soups for ibs *easy prepared foods as I am not able to cook all the time. • I also need a disposable pan for oven and some oven mits I'm struggling to use my oven without these items *chicken bullion cubes preferably less sodium *Lean meat *Butter I am allergic to artificial butter I get hives *lean sandwich meat *Frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower *Orange juice/Grape juice *Concord grapes *raspberries *blueberries *Greek flavoured yogurt *Stuff for fresh salad bonus would be anchovie Cesar dressing *Alfredo sauce *dry Pasta/ I also love cheddar dayia pasta *daiya pizza supreme or any frozen pizza *Cheese *Mushroom soup *split pea an ham soup *Snacks, if possible *Electrolytes *Chicken breast strips no artificial stuff *Toilet paper *dish soap *zip lock bags *tin foil Autism Coping items: TY Ewey the Lamb TY Leo the Lion Weight blanket ( I have severe life threating allergies to non hypoallergenic animals and to smoke) Because of my autism and FASD, familiar comfort items help me feel safe and cope when I am overwhelmed and alone. Coping has been extremely difficult since everyone has moved away suddenly and now i am completely alone. Ewey the lamb has deep sentimental meaning to me. I had one as a child that I truly loved, but my adoptive parents forced me to give it to my adopted brother and promised to replace it. They never did. As an adult, I finally bought another one. I also had ty Leo lion, who reminds me of God. Both were stored with my belongings while I was homeless recently and they were inadvertently thrown away from storage room without my knowledge. Anything from the above groccery list or any other help with the other things would be very help to me and will be forever grateful. Please no one person needs to provide everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and for every act of kindness shown to me. It really means everything to me more than I can express.
