




We are looking for a Production Supervisor on behalf of our partner, a major aerospace, commercial and industrial transportation company located in Laval. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure that all parts produced are manufactured according to the production plan and in compliance with given specifications and prescribed quality standards. Experience in foundry or metallurgy would be an asset. PRODUCTION PLAN Ensure that the unit's production plan is achieved within scheduled timelines and budgets Main responsibilities: Participate in the development of the production plan and work schedules for the team Develop workforce work schedules to meet production plan requirements Assign work tasks and ensure that all workstations are adequately staffed Ensure employees have the necessary materials, tools, and inventory to perform their tasks effectively Assume general management of the department Ensure compliance with daily production quotas Monitor equipment maintenance needs Oversee ongoing production operational activities with the objective of minimizing delays and costs, while anticipating and resolving issues as they arise Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes Identify non-conforming production and initiate corrective actions Monitor worked hours, attendance, and overtime PERSONNEL SUPERVISION Ensure that performance and productivity levels of personnel under supervision continuously progress and improve Main responsibilities: Manage all department personnel Implement company policies, procedures, and the Howmet ethics program, ensuring personnel fully understand and comply with them Ensure employees clearly understand expectations, which may be defined as deliverables or key targeted results as outlined in this job description Ensure each employee receives the necessary training to perform their job well and grow through a continuous improvement process Act as a mentor to employees, providing support, guidance, and regular feedback on performance and behavior.
