I created Oba Yo Kitchen several years ago and had the opportunity to launch this concept at a brewery in Morden Manitoba. It started as a Facebook marketplace ad saying, “Oba Yo Soup 2 Go”. I sold 29 litres in 2 days at $15/L. I knew we had something. A month later someone offered me their kitchen inside their brewery to try and launch the brand. In a small town of 11k people we generated over $140k in revenue inside 8 months with zero ad spend. My specialty is marketing and my passion is food. I just need a kitchen and an opportunity to launch this again and I know how successful it will be. We currently offer catering services between Vancouver island and Alberta but we want a home base.
