
10Hi, I’m Amy – Your Personal Fitness Trainer in Edmonton I am a certified personal fitness trainer, and I’m currently accepting new clients. I work with adults and youth who want to feel stronger, move better, and stay accountable to their health and fitness goals. I am a graduate of the Personal Fitness Trainer diploma program at NAIT in Edmonton, Alberta, and I bring over 17 years of experience in the fitness community. I offer 60-minute one-on-one sessions that are fully focused on you. We can train: At a City of Edmonton Recreation Centre Outdoors at a park (summer months) At a mutually agreed mobile location Or virtually via Zoom I love making training fit your real life, not the other way around. A Bit About Me I am a cardiovascular endurance athlete; - I compete in triathlons and long-distance running. I am also a Head Coach for a youth sports program, and I’m passionate about helping kids and families build healthy, active lifestyles. My education and certifications include: NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) University background in Nutrition and Sciences Fitness Alberta – Older Adult Group Fitness and Aquatic Fitness certification Safe Sport Training - Decision Makers, Direct Athlete Contact, No Direct Athlete Contact, and Understanding the Rule of Two, Coaching Association of Canada. Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid + CPR, Coast2Coast First Aid + Aquatics My knowledge, skills, and experience enable me to work effectively with people who have musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances, or post-rehabilitation concerns. I hold current liability insurance, First Aid & CPR, and a valid criminal record check with a child intervention check, so I am cleared and safe to work with youth and families.
