Hoopstars is one of the largest and fastest-growing private youth sports organizations in the GTA. We create fun, engaging experiences that build confidence and lasting memories for the youth and families in our communities! We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and kid-friendly basketball coaches to join our team! Our program starts with children from the ages of 2-10 years of age, and gets them excited about "organized activities." At that age, it's way more about fun and fist pumps than it is about winning. However, as players grow we focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. By the time they hit ages 5 or 6 we introduce them to scrimmages and then onto more competitive play thereafter. We continue to progress through to our older kids, who can be more focused on game-like situations and skill development. We are currently hiring for Youth Basketball Coaches who have experience working with children from ages 2 - 10. Preference for coaches with experience across a wider age range. Requirements Passionate about working with and engaging young children is a must. Availability on weekday evenings (between 4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (between 9am - 12pm on Saturday/ Sunday). Reliable and professional. Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers. Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents. High energy individual who is physically fit and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 2+ hours Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons. Ideal Experience: Experience working with children of all ages from 2-14. Preference for experienced soccer coaches who are able to work with both Toddler and Youth ages Experience with other types of young child sports organizations (SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads, etc.) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues, etc.) Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an asset Benefits Compensation: $18-23 per hour

We are currently looking for a skilled Auto Body Technician to become a member of our team. The Auto Body Technician will be tasked with repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original state, ensuring that all work meets the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of collision structural repair, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Assessing vehicle damage and creating repair plans Performing structural and body repairs Straightening frames and unibodies Welding using MIG welders and spot welders Dismantling damaged areas to identify hidden damage Reading and understanding repair estimates Working with a variety of materials including metals, plastics, glass, and electrical components Following established repair processes and procedures Collaborating with team members and management Requirements Review damage report and plan work to be performed prior to commencing repairs. Review repair procedures prior to commencing repairs. Document and record materials used for each RO. Management Inventory Accordingly. Inspect completed repairs to verify quality and consistency. Disassemble vehicle repair areas to 100% prior to commencing repairs. Document & label all components, fasteners, bolts, and clips when removing components from vehicle. Utilize component trays provided. Inspect vehicles for additional damage or issues that may impact the repair process. Document components damaged during the disassembly process. Inform parts department of this immediately so a replacement can be ordered to avoid delays in delivery. Perform structural and complete body repairs: Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. (Assess, Repair or Replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories, doors and frame and underbody components. Benefits Pay / Flat Rate We will be using a flat rate payment system. This means that instead of being paid by the hour or by the day, you will receive a fixed amount for the entire project. The advantage of this system is that it provides clarity and certainty for both of us. You will know exactly how much you will be paid, regardless of how long the project takes to complete. Flat rate pay will be discussed upon and during hiring process.
