Open Stage Night

Description

OPEN STAGE Night at Barrie Public Library Painswick Branch November 19, 2026 6-830 PM Join Roots Music Barrie, a not-for-profit organization that cares about the growth and nurturing of the roots music movement in our community, as they share their passion for acoustic music. Listen to the sound of live music or bring your instrument and play your favourite tunes in an acoustic “OPEN STAGE” format. Each performer (solo or groups) will have the opportunity to take the stage to perform a three-song set (of no more than 15 minutes). The event will run on the third Wednesday of the month (Yes, we operate during the summer months too!) from 6-830 pm and sign up time will begin at 5:45 pm. There will be 10 guaranteed spots. At the conclusion of the 10 performances the host will apportion the remaining time available between those that have not yet performed and/or give others a chance for extra songs. Members of the community are encouraged to come out and be part of our audience and enjoy an evening of musical entertainment for FREE!
