Lie-Nielsen #8 Jointer Plane

Selling my #8 Lie-Nielsen jointer plane. This plane is hard to find these days as it is frequently out of stock (see link). No other manufacturer to my knowledge makes a #8 which is longer and wider than a standard #7. It is peerless in its design and manufacturing. I have added photos of the entire plane disassembled with details. If important to you the sole could be shipped to Lie-Nielsen and they will re-lap it professionally; not advised to do this on your own without significant experience to maintain dimensional flatness and perpendicularity, This plane new (if you can get it) after currency conversion, shipping, brokerage fees and taxes is well north of $1100 CDN shipped, and that is before any tariffs, so the price is very reasonable given its good condition.
