Cello Lessons in Kanata

Description

My name is Benjamin Louwersheimer, and I teach cello from my studio in Kanata. As a professional cellist, I have taught students of all ages across Canada since 2009. My teaching experiences have ranged from Elementary, High School, and University students. I offer in-person and online lessons for all ages and abilities (adult learners are always welcome!). For new learners, if you require assistance, I can help you to find a cello rental that suits your needs and price range. Renting or finding a cello can be an intimidating experience, but its doesn’t have to be. I am happy to help you find a cello that is right for you. For the past 9 years I have performed extensively in B.C, Ontario, and Nova Scotia as a chamber musician, orchestral player, studio musician, and soloist with professional orchestras. While my training stems from Classical repertoire, I regularly perform contemporary music, create solo recitals, and frequently collaborate with composers in the creation of new works. In 2017 I completed my master’s in performance at the University of Toronto where I am currently completing my doctoral studies in the studio of Joseph Johnson (principal cellist of the Toronto Symphony and Instructor at New England Conservatory).
