Serving through Love

Lately, I've been thinking differently about what it means to follow Jesus. I don't believe I need to be inside a church building to serve God. Jesus showed us that serving others can be simple, humble, and practical. I'm looking for opportunities to use some of my time to help people who could use an extra hand. That could mean helping with cleaning, organizing, groceries, errands, preparing a meal, spending time with someone who feels lonely, or simply helping make someone's day a little lighter. My heart is to serve without judgment, with kindness, humility, and respect. Jesus said: “For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.” — John 13:15 I'm not looking for recognition. I'm simply looking for ways to put my faith into action and become more of the kind of person Jesus calls me to be.
