Math & Physics Tutor | Grades 9–12 | Engineering Graduate

Description

I’m an Engineering graduate offering personalized one-on-one Math and Physics tutoring for high school students across the GTA. I offer both online and in-person tutoring and am willing to travel to students throughout the GTA. Subjects I tutor include: • Grade 9 & 10 Math • Grade 11 Functions • Grade 12 Advanced Functions • Grade 12 Calculus & Vectors • Grade 11 & 12 Physics • Test & exam preparation • Homework and assignment support My goal is to make difficult concepts easier to understand by breaking them down step-by-step and adapting my teaching style to each student. Rather than simply showing students how to get the right answer, I focus on helping them understand the reasoning behind it so they can confidently approach similar problems on their own. I also understand what it’s like to be in the student’s position. Not every concept clicks immediately, and sometimes all it takes is having someone explain it differently. I make an effort to connect with each student, understand where they’re struggling, and create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I genuinely care about the progress of the students I work with. Whether the goal is to raise a grade, prepare for an upcoming test or exam, catch up on missed concepts, or build confidence, I tailor our sessions around what that student needs most. Rates & Availability Online: $30/hour In-person: $35/hour Available evenings and weekends. In-person tutoring is available throughout the GTA, and I’m willing to travel to the student. I also offer a free 20-minute introductory consultation to understand the student’s current course, challenges, and goals before getting started. Message me with the student’s grade, course, general location, and what they’re looking for help with, and we can discuss availability.
