Identify any prior damages overlooked on the QA checklist/ or related on the supplemental damage sheet.)\r\n Performing structural and complete body repairs: Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. DCHC ensures Durham community members receive not only sick care, but preventive care as well. \r\nAt DCHC, we are a team-based interprofessional group of staff including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, counselors, dietitians, outreach workers, medical secretaries, and other administrative staff. The RN will provide high-quality, gender-affirming care in collaboration with nurse practitioners, mental health professionals, and system navigators, supporting individuals navigating gender identity, gender dysphoria, and transition-related healthcare. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, cultural competence, and a strong commitment to inclusive, non-judgmental care.\r\nEmployment Status: Temporary Full-Time Contract, until March 31st, 2026 \r\nPosition Status: This is a Bargaining Unit position. All terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement apply. \r\nHours of Work Schedule: 35 hours per week \r\nAnnualized salary range: $71, 655.00 - $76,728.00, commensurate on skills and experience, plus participation in HOOPP \r\nHiring Manager: Manager, Integrated Care & Experience \r\nPrimary Location: North Oshawa and Pickering (with flexibility to transition to/work at other DCHC sites as required).\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n Provide client-centered, evidence-based nursing care to transgender, non-binary and genderdiverse individuals in a non-judgmental manner, involving clients as partners in their care, recognizing the social determinants of health and associated health risks, and taking the stance of a health advocate. \r\n Actively participate, seek, and provide consultation within an inter-professional model of care. \r\n Perform comprehensive assessments and health information gathering of clients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial health, including conducting initial evaluations, ongoing monitoring, and documenting care plans\r\n Educate clients and their families about gender-affirming treatments, healthcare options, and navigating the healthcare system. Advocate for the client’s rights and help ensure their experience is affirming and supportive.\r\n Assist with gender-affirming medical interventions, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), bloodwork and providing education for self-injections. Our Auto Body Technician must be able to take a vehicle in a damaged state and repair or restore damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance. The Incumbent is detailed oriented and can multitask to accommodate shifting priorities. Primary Objectives of the AutoBody (Collision Repair) Technician: Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed Thoroughly examine collision damage (Review the complete vehicle exterior body parts, check all power accessories (door locks/windows/mirrors are operational) check that the dash panel has no warning lights on. Identify any prior damages overlooked on the QA checklist/ or related on the supplemental damage sheet.) Performing structural and complete body repairs: Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. (Assess, Repair or Replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories, doors and frame and underbody components) Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers. Welding on vehicles with the use of MIG welders and compression spot welders. Fully dismantle the complete vehicle damaged areas including the blend panel parts in order to identify all hidden damages as early in the repair cycle as possible. For example remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroof Ability to file, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, apply primers and repaint surfaces. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams Restore vehicle to factory specification (Return the vehicle back to factory/OEM specifications) Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling Technician must be able to read and understand the estimates. Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures. Able to work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical, and mechanical parts. Experience using frame and measuring equipment. Experience with disassembly and reassembly of vehicles Perform other duties as assigned by management. Position Reports To: Senior Manager, Integrated Care & Experience Director: AVP, Integrated Care & Experience Location: Pickering/Oshawa; with flexibility to work/transition to all DCHC sites Key Responsibilities Provide client-centred, evidence-informed psychotherapy/counselling services that address the psychosocial needs of individuals and families/caregivers in a non-judgemental manner Provide psychotherapy/counselling services within scope of practice as defined by the respective regulatory colleges Perform biopsychosocial assessments and ensure that treatment/counselling plans are developed collaboratively with the client and other members of the IPC team Support and promote the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of evidence-based psychotherapy/counselling protocols and standards of best-practice Actively collaborate and seek/provide consultation within an inter-professional model of care, which can include Social Workers, Psychotherapists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Medical Secretaries and external health service providers, in the client’s circle-of-care Participate in clinical case conferences and perform case management functions as required. Collaborate with members of DCHC’s Health Promotion and Community Development Services (HPCDS) as required. Actively lead, participate and/or partner on internal and external projects or committees as assigned. This could include participation in various operational initiatives and activities designed to improve team effectiveness and overall workplace success. Participate in chart reviews, peer review processes, development and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans (QIP), Professional Development activities as required by the respective colleges, and accreditation activities with Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA). Complete timely and accurate medical records of client encounters, documentation and third-party correspondence using DCHC’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Telus PSS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word) is an asset. Flexibility to work at DCHC's clinical locations to delivery patient care services, as required. Ability to work a flexible schedule with at least one evening per week. Key Qualifications Completion of a Master's degree - Social work or Counselling Psychology   Must be a current member in good standing with Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) -or- the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Two years providing counselling/therapy and assessments. Evidence of either degree-curriculum, or post-graduate education in the theory and use of evidence informed therapeutic counselling interventions [e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (an asset), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) etc.]. Demonstrated experience providing the above interventions (e.g. CBT) to individual, couples, family and group clients with complex mental health challenges. Knowledge of DSM-V diagnoses, concurrent disorders and crisis intervention skills is an asset. Demonstrated competence in completing biopsychosocial assessments, preparing treatment/counselling plans, delivering above interventions, documenting and communicating with partners in client circle-of-care. Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload, determine priorities, meet deadlines, work independently and as an effective member within an inter-professional team. Demonstrate knowledge of issues affecting marginalized communities, policies, legislation, programs, and other issues related to scope of practice and social determinant of health. Access to a car and valid driver’s license required. Familiar with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (e.g., Nightingale on Demand) and computer skills in use of Microsoft Office. Ability to support and provide input into the program evaluation process to align and determine priorities. Position Overview As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) will deliver comprehensive, client-centered primary care and addiction-focused health services to individuals experiencing homelessness and/or substance use challenges in the community.   The NP will provide primary care assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with complex physical, mental health, and substance use concerns – working collaboratively with internal and external providers to ensure integrated, wraparound supports aimed at improving access, reducing barriers, and addressing social determinants of health. Support client safety through evidence-based practices and adherence to policies and standards, including communication and teamwork, infection prevention and control, safe medication practices, safe use of equipment and facilities, and risk reporting. Contribute to activities related to the development, implementation, and evaluation of medical directives, policies and procedures, best practices, and protocols. Adhere to and promote evidence-based practices and standards of best practice in keeping with Durham CHC operational guidelines. Participate in chart audits, development, and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans (QIP), and accreditation activities with the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA). Demonstrate active participation in the CNO Quality Assurance (QA) Program to ensure the maintenance of continuing competence to practice and with Durham CHC’s performance management requirements. Participate in Durham CHC agency training activities and meetings as requested. Provide clinical supervision and training for nursing students when applicable. Qualification and Experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree. Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Membership in the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) is an asset. Phlebotomy certification (or willingness to obtain). Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience supporting clients with complex health needs, preferably in a primary care or community health setting. Experience working with communities facing barriers to healthcare access. Expertise in gender-affirming healthcare, including hormone therapy and transition-related procedures (e.g., post-operative wound care). Lived experience and/or deep understanding of 2SLGBTQI communities is an asset. Strong cultural competence related to gender identity, gender expression, and inclusive healthcare delivery. Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment. Strong written communication skills, including clinical documentation and reporting. CPR certification (current).
