But honestly I'm that rare super artistic creative type (mentally ill), and most people who play instruments aren't really as austistic as me on the creative side (not a diss) and I'm looking for a lead player who's less autistic then me, more technical, who can do harmonies and Solos over my insanity (this doesn't mean I suck) lol but not so much of a snob your going to roll your eyes at a lack of formal education (most metal guys hate music theory anyways) ... My influences mainly stem from 2000s era metal stuff from killswitch engage to as blood runs black to Parkway drive , more recently getting more into deathcore,(thus the 7 string) feel like most metalcore guys graduate to deathcore at some point lol but I hate putting labels on it, it's whatever sounds cool really, at this point your going to be crossing multiple subgenres no matter what you do ...the main thing is I want every part to sound like a favorite part , not just like one good song out of a whole album.... I'm always like why can't all the riffs be sick?
