Beginners are welcome to learn how to ice skate this fall/winter season with someone who has been ice skating since childhood. It should take no more than a couple of lessons to teach you the basics of how to stop, turn, and ice skate forwards or backwards depending on your personal preference. By the end of the session, you will be confident and comfortable ice skating with your family and friends for the remainder of the season. FAQ: • Who are these lessons for? Ice skating lessons are for adults, teens, and children alike. Lessons can be done one-on-one or in a group setting. • What must I bring? You must bring your own pair of ice skates. Adults, teens, and children may choose to wear winter attire (e.g., gloves, snow pants, jackets, hats). However, wearing protective gear (e.g., hockey helmet) is mandatory for teens and children but optional for adults. • When do lessons take place? Each arena has their own hours of availability. Please see my calendar to view your preferred arenas availability. • Where do lessons take place? Lessons take place at indoor arenas where there are free public access times. Please see my calendar to view the full directory for the fall/winter season. • How long are lessons? Each lesson is 1 hour long. Please see my calendar to select an hour on a date that works the best with your schedule.
