Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Apprentice

Aviation Starlink is looking for an apprentice technician Your role Under the responsibility of the maintenance manager, your role will be to carry out scheduled routine maintenance tasks assigned by your coordinator. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, or modifications on Starlink fleet aircraft, components, and equipment assigned to you; Comply with procedures outlined in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM); Report any anomalies discovered during maintenance activities to maintenance coordinators; Report any unfinished work to maintenance coordinators using the deferral process; Support the correction of deficiencies identified during routine inspections or reported by flight crews after flights; Carry out tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, paying particular attention to personal safety and the safety of colleagues and customers; Maintain current training levels; Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and use only approved equipment and materials provided by the company; Maintain an organized and clean work environment; May be required to perform tasks during downtime of the team to which assigned (e.g., line team or moderate/heavy team), to work with the other team if necessary; Any other related duties. Requirements Required qualifications and requirements Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (maintenance); Must be in the process of obtaining a valid Transport Canada TEA license; Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations; Perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals; Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status; Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC); Class 5 driver's license (an asset). Your skills Strong communication skills (French and English); Reason: Signature Documents in English: Procedures, specifications, and technical regulations are in English Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team; Ability to work under pressure, good stress management; Demonstrated flexibility according to operational needs; Strong adaptability, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
