This is a very cool little parlour style guitar from Eastman Guitars. Built in 2019, this one is one of the good ones before Eastman merged with Bourgeois Guitars. It has a solid Adirondack top and Mahogany back, sides, and neck. Notably, and no longer offered on Eastman guitars is a dovetail neck joint, nitrocellulose finish throughout and a glossed headstock (not matte finish). It looks and sounds like a much higher end instrument. 1 13/16 nut, comfy C shape neck, adjustable truss rod. Action is 5.5/64th low E and 4/64th high E, measured at the 12th fret, with plenty of room to adjust to your playing style. The neck is incredibly stable and honestly one of my favourite necks on any guitar I’ve owned, capped off with a generous 2 3/8 string spacing at the saddle. The top is scalloped X braced. This guitar is not boxy like most parlours at this price point. It’s punchy, balanced and lively. Tons of volume for a small guitar. It is amazing little couch companion that I would keep but I have a one in, one out policy. Asking $1499 with a nice Eastman hardcase.
