I have a PhD in mathematics and years of industry experience behind it. I tutor online, so we can work together wherever you are - Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph or anywhere else. Most of my work is with university students, and the pattern is nearly always the same: the course moved faster than the foundation underneath it, and by the time that shows up in an assignment it feels like the whole subject has gone. It hasn't. Usually one or two specific things are missing. So I find those, fix them properly, and build back up from there. Real examples, explained in plain terms rather than restated from the textbook. I don't believe anyone is bad at math - I think most people were moved on before something landed. Calculus, vector calculus and linear algebra are where I'm most useful, along with AP and SAT math.
