Project Coordinator (Vancouver) We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our growing team, who will be responsible for assisting in management of a variety of projects. Have you been working in the construction industry, and have a strong sense of how to support a project team on fast paced projects? This role is based at our Surrey Office, but we offer remote + flexible working arrangements. Project Startup -- issuing contracts, requesting insurance and bonds, WCB notices, etc. Project Documentation -- using Timberline and Microsoft software to manage labour, materials, and equipment, cost coding, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, change orders, etc. Subtrade/Supplier Management -- ability to manage construction subtrades and suppliers, and mitigate issues that may arise in the course of a project Client Interface -- attending meetings with project manager, architects, consultants, and clients to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationships Qualifications: Preferable Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in a construction or industry-related program Industry Experience - 2-5 years minimum - must have Construction industry experience, preferable to have General Contractor experience but Trade Contractor experience would also be considered. Requirements YOU WILL Manage the end-to-end delivery of logistics-related projects within a global FMCG context. DVW is seeking a project manager with a proven track record to join our Latin American audio description operations team. This role will manage multi-language audio description projects for the M&E industry (films, TV series, other). In this context, we are recruiting native Spanish-speaking candidates who are passionate about pushing the boundaries to accessibility. This is a full-time hybrid remote/on-site position based in Vancouver, Canada. As project manager, you will develop and simultaneously coordinate multiple projects through all phases of production, while monitoring logistical aspects with clients. Responsibilities: Manage the creation of audio description of Spanish language content for blind and visually impaired customers. Schedule and monitor projects to ensure timely delivery. Liaise with clients concerning deliverables/receivables and trouble-shoot as necessary.
