Stay away from this contractor, Mohammad (Nick). He sent an agreement for a basement renovation and then walked away after asking for more money in the middle of the job—even though I had already paid him more than the work he completed. He didn’t show up consistently, often skipping days, and he has very poor communication. He rarely responded to texts, even while working on the property. He also left all the debris in my garage—almost 30 bags plus boards. Don’t be fooled by the low price. They are not professional at all. He claimed to have 15 years of experience, but the quality of work proves otherwise. The work is extremely unprofessional: • Doors were not cut properly • Baseboards have hundreds of nails and were not painted before installation • Bathroom has gaps everywhere • Paint was done with only one coat • Washer and dryer were installed incorrectly and undersized • Electrical plugs were installed in the wrong locations (washer/dryer plug should be higher; stove plug should be lower) • Almost full house need to redo after laying 30k Most people would end up redoing a large portion of his work. I am taking legal action against him and his company, FourPillarsContractor. Even if someone charges $5,000–$10,000 more, it is absolutely worth it to go with a professional.
