I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and I have over 5 years of experience in rehabilitation exercises for muscular skeletal injuries, spine injuries, stroke brain injuries. Based on my academic education and experience in rehabilitation, I take a professional program of manual osteopathy and need to work on clients to develop my skills. The practice of manual osteopathy consists of various prophylactic; diagnostic and therapeutic measures designed to maintain or restore structural integrity and thus ensure physiological function. The rational application of therapy requires a comprehensive knowledge of normal structure and function and familiarity with those structural and functional lesions that constitute disease. Using only gentle palpation and manipulation techniques, I can issue clinical impressions and osteoarticulation treatments such as: - General Osteopathic Treatment - Muscle Energy Technique -neurological techniques - specific correcting techniques of the coccyx and sacrum -lumbar corrections -correction of bones and articulations in the legs - clavicular joint dysfunction - general thoracic releases - sacroiliac joint dysfunctions -cervical assessment and corrections -rib assessment and corrections - anterior and posterior innominate rotation corrections - temporomandibular joint corrections I look for patients in west end Edmonton and St. Albert for mobile services.
