Stationary bike
Basic Info
Description
The sturdy Pro-Form Carbon CX indoor cycling bike features a steel frame with a dark gray and black finish. This home exercise bike is equipped with an adjustable handlebar, a padded saddle, and a red resistance knob. It includes a front-mounted flywheel and pedals with toe cages. One pedal is broken but easily repairable. 1. Remove the old left crank: Typically requires an Allen key (center bolt), and if the crank is stuck on its spindle, a small tool called a crank puller (costing approximately $10–$15 at a bike shop or online). 2. Purchase replacement parts: A compatible new left crank (often a standard square-taper model for stationary bikes) and a new pair of pedals. 3. Reassemble everything: Screw the new crank onto the spindle, then screw on the new pedal (taking care to observe threading direction—left pedals thread counterclockwise). Time and cost: In terms of time, it takes approximately 15–30 minutes once you have received the parts. Financially, the total parts cost will be approximately CAD 30–50.
