





This position is responsible for providing technical and metallurgical support to the casting foundry, including the development of new programs and support for existing programs. Responsibilities include defining priorities, achieving process and product objectives, managing engineering resources and equipment, assigning tasks, and assisting engineering and manufacturing departments. In addition, this role coordinates investigations to improve quality, optimize costs, and ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality cast parts. Key Responsibilities: Management and optimization of metallurgical processes To ensure continuous improvement, reduce waste, and lower operating costs, he/she ensures the effective review and management of metallurgical processes: Organize projects and analytical studies to test new engineering applications. Serve as technical authority on casting projects, validate changes, and propose solutions. Develop and coordinate schedules for the process engineering team. Recommend technical research and projects. Identify and analyze complex problems, initiate investigations, and propose solutions. Control process variables to ensure specified metallurgical qualities. Interact with customers to resolve their technical and quality concerns. 2- Provide effective supervision, leadership, training, coaching, and development of personnel to achieve desired results. 3- Adhere to company values and code of ethics. 4- Comply with company environmental, health, and safety programs: Understand and follow company EHS rules and regulations. Wear required protective equipment. Report safety hazards, unsafe acts, and any accidents in accordance with company procedures. Required Qualifications and Skills Technical Basic computer skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. SPC and analytical analysis. Knowledge of aluminum investment casting processes and experimental techniques. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Experience in investment casting methods or others is preferred. Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken. Skills in report writing, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate clearly and respond effectively to questions. Bachelor's degree in engineering with specialization in metallurgical engineering or materials science, or equivalent experience combined with ongoing technical training.
