
Learn the basics of stand-up paddleboarding This course is a complete introduction to the enjoyment of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in calm water. You will learn about the origins of this accessible and relaxing sport, how the equipment works, the safety rules to follow, as well as basic techniques for moving efficiently on the water. We will explore different ways of paddling while standing, kneeling, or sitting, all while improving your balance through fun exercises. All of this takes place in an inspiring natural setting, ideal for building confidence and enjoying the tranquility of the river. A perfect opportunity to gently get started, reconnect with your body, and appreciate the beauty of the Petite-Nation. Youths under 14 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the activity.
