Not by hitting the ball beside or behind you! -Drop wrist downwards below the ball. To create top spin from low to high. Do not lay the wrist back like a squash player would. -Swing from low to high with a closed racket face at a 75 degree angle - -Breath out during rotation of the body after impact to release tension after every groundstroke. - Create Large strokes to give yourself lots of room and space to adjust to the balls movement after the bounce. -Use a Loose wrist on your serve than a loose wrist on the FH or BH during the point. -When returning serve. SPLIT STEP with feet spread wide apart throwing yourself off balance forward. Than with out a back swing... stay low on the BH or FH side with a short swing infront of your knee caps and follow through. -Stay and hit the ball to finish the return before recovering back to the center of the court. -If you feel you hit a good Return, move forward towards the net. And move to your singles side line closest to where u hit the ball. -To hit BH/FH extremely HARD. Get low with a wide leg base and than PREPARE LARGE STROKE EARLY.Run and get close to ball. Slow down and stop to throw your momentum forward into shot with a strong base leaning on top of the tennis ball with aggressive top spin. NOTE* The harder you want to hit the ball. The more top spin you need to use. * to increase power you must increase ball rotation to keep the ball in.
