JOB OFFERING – Social Work Technician (SAPA) 📍 Workplace: CHSLD Blanc Sablon, Côte Nord, Quebec 📅 Contract duration: From now until October 01, 2025, day shift 📁 Temporary contract with possibility of extension About the contract: Services SFT is seeking a dedicated Social Work Technician to fill a position within the SAPA (Support for Autonomy of Elderly Persons) sector in Blanc Sablon, a warm and welcoming community located at the eastern end of the North Shore. Main responsibilities: Assess residents' psychosocial needs. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in planning and monitoring intervention plans. Support residents and their families in adapting to life in a CHSLD. Participate in coordinating community or external services as needed. Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards. Requirements: College diploma (DEC) in Social Work Technology or Intervention Techniques in Delinquency. Active membership in the OTSTCFQ (Order of Social Workers and Marital and Family Therapists of Quebec). Experience working with elderly clientele in an institutional setting (an asset). Strong listening, communication, and teamwork skills. Openness to working in a northern or remote environment.
