Project Coordinator (Vancouver) We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our growing team, who will be responsible for assisting in management of a variety of projects. This role is based at our Surrey Office, but we offer remote + flexible working arrangements. Project Startup -- issuing contracts, requesting insurance and bonds, WCB notices, etc. Project Documentation -- using Timberline and Microsoft software to manage labour, materials, and equipment, cost coding, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, change orders, etc. Subtrade/Supplier Management -- ability to manage construction subtrades and suppliers, and mitigate issues that may arise in the course of a project Client Interface -- attending meetings with project manager, architects, consultants, and clients to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationships Qualifications: Preferable Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in a construction or industry-related program Industry Experience - 2-5 years minimum - must have Construction industry experience, preferable to have General Contractor experience but Trade Contractor experience would also be considered. Responsibilities: Project Estimation: Assist senior engineers in the development of protection and control designs from conceptual through implementation stages. You will assist in building and integrating the physical components of our robots, from arms and end effectors to sensors and mobile platforms. What you will do: Set up, assemble, and integrate humanoid robotic arms and mobile platforms. Design and fabricate custom hardware parts using CAD for 3D printing, sheet metal, and CNC milling. Set up and route cables, power supplies, and sensors (depth cameras, RGB cameras, LiDAR). Assist in firmware-level tasks and communication protocols (RS232, I2C, CAN bus) to ensure everything connects properly. Build temporary testing platforms, create CAD models for custom parts, order them, and oversee final assembly. Upgrade teleoperation systems for lighter weight and better ergonomics to reduce operator fatigue. Requirements What you will bring: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) for part design and fabrication.
