Position Overview We are currently recruiting for this position in the greater Montreal area. The incumbent provides residential and commercial customer service along a predetermined route, conducting periodic, monthly, biweekly, or weekly inspections of pest control devices such as monitoring stations, traps, insect light traps, and bait stations, both indoors and outdoors. The individual maintains inventory of pesticides used. They actively seek opportunities to sell Rentokil Terminix products and services and collaborate with sales representatives to identify such opportunities with clients. It is their responsibility to properly eliminate any pest covered under the service agreement with each client. They must respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Pest Management Technician, under the supervision of the Service Manager, include but are not limited to the following: · Follow the schedule to deliver pest management services timely and consistently. · Provide consistently high-quality service to our broad range of customers. · Respond to customer requests, including information inquiries. · Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. · Maintain knowledge of technical information regarding chemicals used and their application methods. · Encourage customers to leave positive feedback about their experience (Chekkit or Google). · Inform customers of potential issues. · Serve all customers across assigned routes in accordance with company standards and procedures. · Prepare and submit daily service reports as required. · Maintain inventory of pesticides used. · Keep service records in compliance with regulatory standards. · Deliver an exceptional experience to every customer. · Actively seek opportunities to sell Terminix Canada products and services, and collaborate with sales representatives to target such opportunities with clients. · Maintain a clean driving record. · Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, as well as applicable municipal, provincial, and federal regulations. · Ensure the vehicle remains clean and organized, and confirm that all necessary products and equipment are always on board for job completion. · Complete company, federal, and provincial training programs within required timeframes to obtain or renew relevant certifications. · Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, based on customer needs. · Perform any other duties as required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ideally, one to three months of relevant experience. Possess required licenses or certifications as mandated by provincial and federal regulations. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move weights of 10 lb (regularly) and 11 to 20 lb (frequently). Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 lb (occasionally). Work at heights. Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record. Well-organized, energetic, and reliable. Demonstrate independence in a high-workload environment. Interact with sensitivity, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism at all times. Read, write, and speak fluent English (an asset). Willingness to undergo a background check.
