As an associate notary, you will be involved in drafting various legal documents, managing complex files, and mentoring junior notaries. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring the legal compliance of transactions. Responsibilities Draft and authenticate a variety of notarial documents, including contracts, wills, and property deeds. Manage and oversee complex transactions while delivering exceptional client service. Mentor and supervise junior notaries and support staff. Collaborate with other lawyers and professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to clients' legal needs. Participate in business development and marketing initiatives to grow the firm. Stay current with relevant legal and regulatory developments. Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and business partners. Requirements In good standing with the Chambre des notaires du Québec. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a notary, with expertise in real estate and/or commercial law. Proven skills in file management and legal drafting. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken. Energy, leadership, and ability to foster a collaborative learning environment.
