I'm genuinely passionate about math and I'd like some of that to rub off. Beyond helping you understand it, I'd quite like to convince you it's cool. What I focus on is why things work, not just how to answer the kind of question you know will be on the test. Once the underlying concept is solid, everything after it is faster and easier - and much less tedious. Teaching to the test produces students who can do last week's paper and nothing else. Ask me anything, including the questions you think are too basic. Those are usually the ones worth asking. And focus on learning rather than grades. Chasing the number alone will hold you back in the long run - the students who get interested in the material end up ahead of the ones optimising for marks.
