Our Substations group is currently looking to add a Construction Foreman (Substations) to our growing team, based in the Maritimes (Halifax, NS / Moncton, NB). Reporting to the Site Supervisor (Substation Construction), the role of Foreman is to oversee on-site construction activities and lead on-site crew while ensuring project construction is executed effectively and safely. The Foreman is also responsible for tracking any changes or field issues as they arise and will be the main point of contact for the Field staff/crew. Please Note: This is a Field based position and must be able to accommodate multiple shift requirements based on Project Schedules Duties and Responsibilities Manage all site activities and crew members (up to 5-20 people) Ensure compliance with Valard’s safety Policies and Procedures Complete daily paperwork relating to jobsite, including timesheets, field reports, etc. Conduct Equipment reviews and scheduling.
