Process Server

I am a self represented plaintiff looking for a Reliable volunteer to assist with serving court documents to several defendants. No legal experience is required - Just someone responsible, respectful, and comfortable delivering envelopes to defendants. How it will work: • I will meet the volunteer in a public location first. • At the meeting, I will provide simple instructions for service. The volunteer may choose either; • To drive themselves to each location, or • To ride with us In one vehicle while we travel to the service locations. The volunteer may choose whichever option they prefer. What the volunteer will do: • Deliver the envelopes to the named recipients or leave them as permitted. • Record the date, time, and method of service on a simple form we provide. • After completing the deliveries, the volunteer must be willing to go to the St. Catharines courthouse with me to sign the service form (Affidavit of service). Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must be reliable and able to follow straightforward instructions.
