Chemistry/Science/Math Tutor

Description

I have eight years of tutoring experience in math and science at elementary school, middle school, high school, adult high school, and post secondary levels. I also have additional experience teaching tutorials in chemistry at the 3rd year university level. I have a 'let's figure it out together' approach. I listen carefully to what you already know so that I can pinpoint what information you're missing. I use analogies to make new concepts seem familiar. I tutor online ($35/hr), in person at Alta Vista library ($45/hr), or nearby in your home (ask for pricing). To date, I have tutored the following courses (this is not a complete list of the courses I can tutor): Chemistry: grades 11 and 12, first year general chemistry, second year organic chemistry, second year organic spectroscopy, third year inorganic chemistry. Math: grades 6 - 12, adult high school, first year university calculus. Science: grades 9 and 10. Physics: grade 11. I am a former PhD student in chemistry.
