Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Avionics) - Dorval, Canada

Are you passionate about aviation and skilled in aircraft maintenance? Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Avionics). You will play an essential role by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising inspections, and contributing to the safety and reliability of our aircraft fleet. Your role: The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will carry out maintenance tasks assigned by the coordinator. They will also perform aircraft maintenance deferral actions and contribute to correcting defects identified during routine inspections or reported by the flight crew after a flight. They may also be required to supervise an inspection or modification on a specific aircraft. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Performing repairs, overhauls, or modifications on aircraft, components, and equipment as assigned; Adhering to procedures outlined in the maintenance policy manual; Ability to read and understand various diagrams for maintenance troubleshooting; Conducting and coordinating inspection, maintenance, and repair of company aircraft and related systems; Performing aircraft troubleshooting; Building, calibrating, and maintaining control boxes or panels; Contributing to the correction of deficiencies identified during routine inspections or reported by flight crew after a flight; Carrying out tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, with particular attention to personal safety and the safety of colleagues and customers; Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and using only approved equipment and materials provided by the company; Maintaining up-to-date technical training and health/safety records. Requirements Required qualifications: Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid Transport Canada TEA license, category E; Proficiency with computers and diagnostic tools; Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations; Ability to perform tasks according to aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals; Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status; Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC); Class 5 driver's license. Your skills: Strong communication skills (French and English); Reason: Signature Documents in English: Procedures, specifications, and technical regulations are in English Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently with great attention to detail; Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines; Ability to work on a flexible schedule.
