JOB OFFER – Occupational Therapist (CHSLD Boisvert) 📍 Work location: CHSLD Boisvert, Baie-Comeau, Côte-Nord, Quebec 📅 Start date: As soon as possible - October 18, 2025 📁 Temporary assignment with possibility of renewal About the position: Services SFT is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join the interdisciplinary team at CHSLD Boisvert, a warm and person-centered facility located in Baie-Comeau, on the Côte-Nord. Your mission will be to help maintain or improve residents’ independence and quality of life within a long-term care setting. Main responsibilities: Assess residents’ functional abilities and their occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with the care team. Adapt the environment or recommend assistive devices to promote independence and safety. Provide rehabilitation and functional stimulation interventions. Participate in clinical committees and in the continuous improvement of practices within the CHSLD. Document follow-ups and interventions according to professional standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy. Active membership in the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ). Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or functional rehabilitation (a strong asset). Strong interpersonal, observational, and collaborative skills. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and adapt to a changing environment.
