seeking advice and/or help

Hi everyone, I’m posting this on behalf of myself and my three little ones (ages 2, 3, and 4). Their father passed away in a tragic car accident before my youngest was born and it’s been a long and painful journey for me. We recently had to relocate to Saskatoon after losing our housing back home, and it’s been a really tough transition. We’ve applied everywhere—Saskatoon Housing, Camponi, and tons of private places—but we are stuck on waiting lists and haven't had any luck yet. Right now, we are staying in a bedroom at my auntie and uncle's place. I am incredibly grateful they took us in three months ago, but the house is completely full since she has three kids of her own and a newborn grandbaby. I really feel like a burden and in the way. I help out financially as much as I can with my child tax and social assistance, but because I'm still waiting on my September benefits, things are incredibly tight. Resources are stretched super thin for everyone here, especially when it comes to food. The food goes so fast with this many people in the house. On top of that, one of my babies is lactose intolerant, so I have to buy him special milk and different food options, which costs a lot more. Our washer just broke too, and with three toddlers, the laundry and bedding are piling up fast. I really want to buy my auntie a working washing machine as soon as my next child tax comes in. If anyone has a cheap used one for sale, please let me know! A kind neighbor might be able to help us pick it up. Honestly, we are reaching out to the community today just hoping a kind soul might be able to help us. If anyone is willing to make a cash donation to help me with the bills and groceries that my babies need right now, I would be so incredibly grateful. Even if you don't have financial help to give, any leads on private landlords who are understanding, or just some words of advice or encouragement would mean the world to us. I know it’s a lot to ask of complete strangers, but I wanted to try everything I can for my kids. Thank you so much to anyone who took the time to read this.
